Description:

New York Classical mahogany worktable possibly Duncan Phyfe circa 1820, rectangular hinged top opening to reveal adjustable writing surface flanked by compartments and penholder, above conforming case fitted with single drawer, supported by turned columns with ormolu capitals and bases leading to rectangular abacus base on leaf-carved feet with brass casters.
