Two Japanese Satsuma earthenware vases late 19th century stout baluster-form body with wide mouth, alternating cartouches of flowers and two men seated at a table and two samurai in a landscape; multiple decorative characters overall (Wear to gilt and glaze, good condition); other ovoid body with wide mouth, two scenes of dignitaries at court, decorated overall with stylized characters and heavy gilding; stamp on underside (Gilt and mouth heavily worn, good condition). H9 3/4" and H9" *Provenance: Latter bearing the Harrod's label.
