Winchester model 1873 lever-action rifle, SN214221B 38-40 caliber WCF, 24" octagonal barrel with German silver blade sight and buckhorn elevator sights, original walnut stocks with crescent buttplate; manufactured 1885.

Bore poor, rifling worn. Metal with smooth patina, screws good. Dust cover missing, wood with handling marks. Initials scratched in left side of stock, 1" crack in forearm with small chips out.
